Ashu Kumar asked his IST 110 students to take part in a MAKEiT activity, Paws & Prints as part of their exploration of generative AI through hands on activities. To bring this on the road, students received instruction in-class on how to engineer prompts to create their own mascot designs using Adobe Express. These designs were then sent to the Maker Commons at University Park for printing on dye sublimation paper. Prints plus koozie blanks and mini heat presses were shipped to Beaver where library operations supervisor, Amber Hopkins, helped students to expertly assemble their finished designs.
