As in years past, the Media Commons is proud to support the annual Symposium for Teaching and Learning with Technology, a one-day event to showcase ways that technology can be used to enhance teaching, learning, and research at Penn State. For 2015, the TLT Symposium is pleased to share a new and exciting twist to this year’s event by offering the Open Innovation Challenge.
500 People. 5 Minutes. 1 Idea.
It’s a high-profile speaking opportunity to present the best your innovative and imaginative mind has to offer about anything that enhances teaching and learning in higher education. Yes, you read it correctly–anything! Get ready to rumble and show us what you’re made of. Select innovators will get the chance to showcase their ideas in a set of fast-paced, five-minute presentations during a general session for the Symposium’s 500 attendees, who will get to vote on their favorite idea. After the Symposium, the winning idea will be nurtured by a team of experts–who specialize in exactly this kind of thing–to further develop your idea. Not a bad gig, right, and who knows where it will take you?
So, enough of reading this announcement. Get cracking, and submit your innovation at: challenge.tlt.psu.edu. We’re excited to see what you’ll share. Good luck!
