Faculty and staff are invited to attend the free Media Commons Tailgate on Friday, October 3 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The event will begin in the Foster Auditorium within Pattee Library, University Park and then move to the Knowledge Commons.
The Media Commons Tailgate is a highly interactive event focused on exploring the possibilities for digital media in teaching and learning. Attendees will have an opportunity to creatively explore and dig into the role of new media in the classroom and the many new innovations for creating and teaching with multimedia offered by Teaching and Learning with Technology.
This will be a fast-paced day including a dynamic keynote address; group breakout and brainstorming discussions featuring faculty and staff presenting on the use of new media in the classroom; and other sessions designed to engage the audience in conversation. Discussion will cover a range of issues from the technical to the pedagogical, and should offer something for attendees regardless of their background.
Lunch and light refreshments throughout the day will be provided for all attendees. Learn more about the event here at the Tailgate site and register by filling out our brief form.
This event is an in-person experience only, so we hope you can join us on the 3rd. If needed, travel assistance to University Park is available. Please contact Ryan Wetzel for more information.
