Harrisburg Kiosk

Penn State Harrisburg has become the second Commonwealth campus to install a One Button Studio for the upcoming academic year.  The new resource has been added as an enhancement to an already popular group study space on the Library’s second floor.

Harrisburg Collaborative Space

Visitors to Room 201C will still be able to take advantage of the large work table and seating for multiple collaborators that they’ve always had, as well as the short throw projector and lab PC for presentation construction and review.  However, starting this Fall, the space can be used for much more, including recorded presentation practice, lecture capture, research presentations, language review and other teaching and learning projects.

Harrisburg OBS Overview

This automated video studio joins a number of innovative academic tools available to students, faculty and staff from Harrisburg’s Library and IT department.  Other notable offerings include an expansive pool of loaner multimedia and computing equipment – recently expanded with help from Media Commons and TLT to include handheld video cameras, iPod touches and digital still cameras, the “Skittles” reconfigurable tech classroom, fireside seating areas and the Media Commons editing space with sound booths.  Swing by this Fall to check out all of the great resources available to the campus community!
