On May 7th, 2013, the Educational Gaming Commons held the 2nd annual Game Day Event, in the Knowledge Commons on Penn State’s University Park Campus! The event was a great success (and of course a lot of fun) and we’d like to extend our thanks to all of the presenters and attendees who made it possible. Stay tuned for media from the event, our survey, and of course information on Game Day 2014.
For those unfamiliar with the event, “Game Day” is a chance for members of the Penn State community to come together to learn more about what Educational Gaming is, how to best utilize it to improve student learning, and hear how it is being leveraged across Penn State for teaching and research. Designed for both educational gaming “noobs” and seasoned veterans, Game Day is a great opportunity to learn from, share with, and connect to members of the Penn State community around games in Education.
