As we wind down the Spring 2012 semester and look forward toward Summer and Fall 2012 course planning you might find yourself thinking of ways to raise the bar on your student media projects.  Even if you’ve never assigned a media project before, you might want to learn about ways to ensure that students video and audio assignments are just as academically rigorous as traditional papers.

Media Commons and the Library have partnered to create the Scholarly Storytelling workshop to highlight ways in which students can take advantage of both sets of resources to make well-produced multimedia artifacts that are also thoroughly and accurately researched and supported.

The latest installment of this workshop will be held on May 8th at Penn State New Kensington.  Registration is open now and is free to all Penn State faculty and staff.  The event kicks off at 11:00 am and will run for about an hour and a half in ITC 031.  Hope to see you there!
