Tailgate 2011 Branding

Enthusiasm for Tailgate 2011 has been overwhelming this year and registration is filling up faster than expected! Make sure to reserve your spot for the main event on Saturday, November 5th in Foster Auditorium at Pattee Library, University Park. There are also a few seats available for the two pre-conference workshops on Friday, November 4th, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Both days are free and open to all Penn State faculty and staff. In case this is new to you:

The Media Commons Tailgate is a highly interactive, one-day event focused on exploring the possibilities for digital media in teaching and learning. This year’s theme will be “Envisioning Learning Spaces for Tomorrow’s Students” and attendees will have an opportunity to creatively explore the role of new media and gaming in our future classrooms. Like last year, this will be a fast-paced day including student and faculty panels, group brainstorming, and other sessions designed to engage the audience in conversation. Discussion will cover a range of issues from the technical to the pedagogical, and should offer something for you regardless of your background. Lunch and light refreshments throughout the day will be provided for all attendees.
