Media Commons is happy to announce that Apple’s iLife ’11 suite will be installed on all MC editing workstations for the Fall semester. iLife ’11 is a significant upgrade to the applications that our clients use to produce media projects and should be very well-received by all. Some new features of iLife ’11:
- iMovie offers advanced audio editing including filters and fine control tools
- Enhanced instrument lessons in GarageBand make learning to play simpler
- Movie trailer templates in iMovie offer new options for creating short projects
