An influx of new, mobile tools is changing the future of multimedia content creation and Penn State’s Media Commons is exploring the future of these technologies in learning. Through the Mobile Media Pilot, devices like the iPod touch and iPad are being put into the hands of faculty and their students. The Media Commons hopes to learn how real world content producers are impacted by the potential of pocket-sized total production technologies.
