This tutorial explains how to Convert video files as MP4 files to a specific video size. The first thing you will need to do is download a copy of Handbrake.
When you open Handbrake it will automatically ask you to select a file that you wish to convert. Select your file. When you do the Handbrake interface will open up.
To make your file easy to find after it is converted, you may want to change the destination folder to the desktop. In the top half of the Handbrake interface, you will see a heading that says Destination.
Click on the Browse button and select the Desktop as the destination.
Now that you know where your file is going to be exported to, you can begin to set up the conversion. The first thing you are going to want to do is select the format for the Output of your video.
Underneath where you changed the destination of your output is a box that says Format.
Make sure MP4 file is selected. If it is not, simply click on the drop down menu and select it.
Now you can set the Target Size of your video. In the bottom half of the Handbrake interface on the right half is a section that says Quality.
Select Target Size and type in the size in megabytes that you need to convert the file to.
Now go to the top left corner and press the green Start button.
Your video will start converting. The status of the conversion will appear on the bottom of the Handbrake interface.
Once it is done, Handbrake will give you a notification saying that your HandBrake queue is done.
Your video will appear on the Desktop.
